Despatch from London.
Newcastle writes to Douglas to ask Douglas to remit to the “Colonial Agents” Barnard and Julyan £67, which was given to the “Colonial Treasury of British Columbia" by Gosset for his passage from “Ceylon” [Sri Lanka] to Britain.

With reference to your despatch No. 193 of the 22nd of July 1859, I have to instruct you to remit to the Colonial Agents General, Messrs Barnard and Julyan, the sum of £67 which has been paid into the Colonial Treasury of BritishManuscript image Columbia by Captain Gosset on account of his passage from Ceylon to this country in May 1858.
