I have the honour to acquaint Your Grace that I have drawn on Her Majesty's Paymaster General for the sum of Four Hundred and Thirty one Pounds, Five Shillings (£431.5.0), being the amount of Salary due to me as Governor from the 1st ofOctoberManuscript image October to the 31st of December 1861, at the rate of £1800, per Annum, Income Tax deducted, and I have to request Your Grace will be pleased to obtain the necessary authority from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury for the Bill presented on this account to be paid when it becomes due.
