I have the honor to acquaint Your Grace that I have authorized the Treasurer to obtain the sum of Four Thousand pounds by Bills on Her Majesty's Paymaster General on account of the sum voted by Parliament for the support of the Royal Engineers serving in BritishColumbiaManuscript image Columbia for the financial Year 1862-63, and I trust your Grace will cause the necessary authority to be issued for the acceptance of the Bills upon presentation.
