Authorize the Agents to procure & send out the Stores for the Assay Office, if on enquiry they find that all the Articles comprized in these Requisitions are necessary & the quantities are not extravagant?

Mr Jadis
The Assay Department is I believe under the Treasury. Are its expenses defrayed by the Treasury or by the Colony?
If the latter, I think that the first step should be to ask the Agents to report the probable expense of complying with the present requisition.
TFE 16 Jany
The expense will be defrayed by the Colony.
