I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch of the 26th May last marked "Separate," forwarding for my information the draft of an Order in Council providingforManuscript image for the administration of Justice, and constituting a Legislative Council in British Columbia, which draft you have had prepared in view of the course which it is Your Grace's intention to pursue with respect to the future administration of this Colony.
2. I beg that Your Grace will accept my thanks for thus early putting me in possession of your determination [with] respect to the steps to betakenManuscript image taken consequent upon the expiry of the Act of 22 Vic. cap. 99 providing for the Government of British Columbia.
