I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 35 of the 29th of May enclosing a copy of a letter from Mr. Duncan, Missionary of the Church of England, reporting the progress of his Mission at Metlakahtla, in British Columbia.
I have perused this report with much interest, anditManuscript image it has afforded me great satisfaction to observe the valuable services rendered by Mr. Duncan, and the exertions he has made for promoting the welfare of the Indian Tribe.
