I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 32
of the
5th of September, and to inform you that the
British Columbia
Estimates for the present year which you have enclosed have met with the
approval of Her Majesty's Government.
The Lords Commissioners
of
of the Treasury have however requested me to
observe to you that the Abstract B Estimate of Expenditure does not shew
the amount actually expended in the year
1862, and that the Abstract A
Estimate of Revenue shews the Approximate Revenue
1863 instead of the
actual Revenue
1862, and their Lordships request that in future the
established form of preparing the Estimates of each year may be complied
with.
With regard to the Ordinance No. 30 of
1864, to which your Despatch
relates, I beg to
refer
refer you to my Despatch No. 58 of
this days date.
