I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the present Session of the Legislature of this Colony, entitled;
No. 2. An Ordinance to amend the Law of Evidence.

2. I am unable to procure the legal summary of the Attorney General in consequence of a pressure of business. However the Act explains fully its objects, and I need only say that it was the result of a Conference between the Judge of the Supreme Court and myself. My instructions were embodied in the present Ordinance by the Attorney General.
