Sir,
I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the recent Session of the Legislature of this Colony, entitled; No. 28. An OrdinancefurtherManuscript image further to facilitate the construction of the Overland Telegraph.
2. This Ordinance was passed at the solicitation of the Western Union Telegraph Extension Company, which has commonly been called the "Collins Company." The Company found themselves unable to comply with the Laws of the Colony affecting the registrationofManuscript image of Joint Stock Companies.
