I have had the honor to receive your Despatch No. 5 of 2nd February, informing me that the Bill entitled, "An Ordinance for the regulation of Banks," cannot be submittedtoManuscript image to Her Majesty in its present shape.
2. I will in obedience to your commands introduce a Bill, in accordance with the views of the Lords of the Treasury, to the Legislative Council at its next Session.
