Sir,
With reference to your Despatch No. 7 of the 2nd of February enclosing an Ordinance (No. 18) granting a Supplemental Supply of £60,076.8.8 for the Service of the Year 1864, I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Board of Treasury requiring further information on the subject.
I have therefore to request that you will furnish me with a full Statement of the Revenue of 1864, accompanied by such explanations as will showManuscript image distinctly the sources from which the Legislative Council proposed that this Supplemental Expenditure should be met.
