Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 62 of the 22nd of May enclosing a copy of a Report on the Kootenay gold District.
With reference to the statement in that Report respecting the death of a Native of Londerburg and the property left by him, I have to acquaint you that if you will remit to amount to the Crown AgentsManuscript image steps will be taken by this Department to ascertain the most convenient manner of conveying the money to the family of the deceased at Londerburg.
