Sir,
I have the honour to transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Board of Treasury enclosing a Report from the Commissioners of Audit respecting the British Columbia Account for 1863, with a Statement of Expenditure in excessofManuscript image of the Estimate for that year; and I have to request that you will furnish me with a Report in explanation of this statement.
