I have the honor to acquaint you, in answer to your Despatch of the
               
21st November last, that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have
               given directions to the Paymaster General to pay to the Account of the
               Crown Agents for the Colonies the sum of
two
 two thousand nine hundred and thirty seven pounds ten shillings and sixpence, being
               the excess
               of advances made by the colonial Government of 
British Columbia in
               respect of the Regimental Pay of the Royal Engineers serving in that
               Colony over and above the Bills drawn upon England.
