I have read with interest your Despatch No. 61 of the 22nd of May, containing a report of your visit to the Indian School which has been established at St. Mary's on the Fraser.
The account which you give of this Establishment, and of the improvement of the Boys who attend it, does great credit to the Authorities who wereinstrumentalManuscript image instrumental in its foundation, as well as to those who immediately preside over it; and I request that you will convey to them my appreciation of the services which they have thus rendered to the Colony.
