I have the honor to transmit to you, for your information and guidance, copies of the letters mentioned in the margin, shewing that steps have been taken for repaying to the Government of British Columbia, through the Crown Agents for the Colonies, the sums issued from the Colonial Treasury during the year 1864, on account of the pensionsofManuscript image of the persons named in the Schedule which accompanied your Despatch No. 32 of the 23rd of March.
