I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 74 of the 2nd of June, enclosing a transcript of an Ordinance passed by the Legislature of British Columbia in April last, and entitled "An Ordinance for regulating the acquisition of Land"inManuscript image in British Columbia."
I have laid this Ordinance before The Queen and Her Majesty has been pleased to confirm and allow it. You will signify Her Majestys decision to the inhabitants of British Columbia in the usual manner.
