I have received and laid before The Queen the Ordinance No. 25 of 1865, enclosed in your Despatch No. 72 of the 1st June, intituled "An Ordinance to facilitate the creation of Ports of Entry in British Columbia," and I am commanded to inform you that Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to sanction and confirm the same.

You will make known to the inhabitants of the Colony under your Government Her Majesty's decision with respect to the Ordinance in the usual and most authentic manner.
