Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 39 of the 25th of April, enclosing a copy of a letter from Mr. Justice Begbie relative to the jurisdiction of the Supreme Courts of British Columbia and Vancouver Island, and adverting to his own position when the two Colonies shall be united.
