With reference to the correspondence noted in the margin,
Governor Seymour to Mr. Cardwell No. 68 of 27 May 1865. Mr. Cardwell in reply No. 81 of 12th Octr 1865, Officer Administering the Government to Mr. Cardwell No. 43 of 28th April 1866.
I have now to inform you that Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to confirm and allow the British Columbia Ordinance No. 21 of 1865, entitled "An Ordinance respecting Marriage in BritishColumbiaManuscript image Columbia."
