My Lord,
I have had the honor to receive Your Lordship's Confidential despatch of 1st of January respecting a complaint from the late Governor of Vancouver Island in regard to a certaindemonstrationManuscript image demonstration made by the United States Council at Victoria on the 4th of July.
2. I am not in possession of the despatch from Governor Kennedy to which Your Lordship alludes, but I have not found it necessary in any way to complain of the American Authorities since I have been in communication with them on this Coast.
