My Lord Duke,
With reference to your Grace's despatch No. 26 of the 17th
May I have the honor to state that Mr Morgan has asked for and
obtained his privilege of deferring his choice of land for six
months. He has left the Colony for a time.

and that he was currently absent from the colony.
