Sir,
I transmit to you a copy of a letter from Mr. Acton Lindal, respecting Mr. Ernest de Veulle who is stated to have left this Country for Vancouver Island, and to have been recently found drowned.
I have to request that you will cause enquiries to be made with the view of ascertainingwhetherManuscript image whether the Report of Mr. de Veulle's death is correct, and if it be corroborated, I should wish to receive such evidence of the decease as you may be enabled to procure.
