Sir,
With reference to my Despatch of the 29th April No. 20, I transmit
to you a copy of a further letter from the War Office requesting
payment of the sum of £675.2.4 due to that Department by the
government of British Columbia for certain Stores supplied.
If payment hasnot
not been made of this sum, I have to request that
you will take steps for at once causing the Funds to be remitted for
covering this claim.
