I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the recent Session of the Legislature of this Colony, entitled: No 2. An OrdinanceforManuscript image for the more effectual protection of Her Majesty's Naval and Victualling Stores.
2. I add the report of the Attorney General.
3. This measure was brought before the Legislative Council to carry out the instructions conveyed in Your Grace's circular Despatch No 1 of the 15th March 1867.
