With reference to your letter of the 23rd Instant I am directed by Lord Stanley to request that you will state to the Duke of Buckingham that His Lordship will forward to Her Majesty's Minister at Washington copy of the Memorial of the Hudson's Bay Company regarding the question as to the Extension to British Columbia of the terms of the Reciprocity Treaty.
