I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 27th instant in reference to Mr Lowenberg's title to a lot of land in the Town of Victoria, Vancouver's Island, known as "Lot Z," and to request you will convey to His Grace the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos the thanks of the Governor and Committee of the Hudsons Bay Company for the communication.
