I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 41 of the 8th of May and to acquaint you that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, to whom it was referred, have informed me that a Warrant has been issued by the Secretary of State for War on the 16th UltimotoManuscript image to the Paymaster General for the payment of the sum of £164.10.1 to the account of the Crown Agents at the Bank of England, being the amount of advances made in 1867 by your Government for out pensioners of Chelsea Hospital.
I have authorised the Crown Agents to receive this amount and to place it to the credit of your Government.
