I have the honor to transmit to you for your information and in continuation of my despatch No. 32 of the 16th June copies of a correspondence between the War Office, this Department and the Crown Agents relative to the supply of a set of Targets for theVancouverManuscript image Vancouver Island Volunteer Corps.

Copy, Sargeaunt to Rogers, 19 August 1868, returning the drawings and speifications of the Targets and stating that they could be suppplied at £4 each but that "they cannot report favorably of the Targets, the impact of the bullets in a very short time so bends and breaks the plate as to render them useless; they recommened a differnt type of target as being cheaper and stronger.
