In reply to your Despatches No. 73 of the 28th July and No. 90 of the 5th August respecting the improvement of the postal communication between the United Kingdom and British Columbia by way of the United States, I have the honor to transmit to you, for your information and guidance, acopyManuscript image copy of a letter from the General Post Office enclosing a Treasury Warrant fixing the rates of postage to be charged upon correspondence transmitted by that route.
