My Lord,
I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the present Session of the Legislature, entitled;No. 1.Manuscript image No. 1. An Ordinance to establish Banks for Savings within the Colony of British Columbia. The Attorney General's Report is attached.
2. This measure was introduced to the Council by my direction, and I think it likely to confer considerable benefit upon the Colony.
