My Lord,
I have had the honor to receive Your Lordship's Confidential despatch of 24 March forwarding a letter from W.A. Wells in reference to the case of "Krog v. Franklyn" whichwasManuscript image was tried at the Bristol Assizes in 1858.
2. Your Lordship desires me to obtain an explanation of the case from Captain Franklyn on the subject. He had, however, sailed for the Seychelles Islands before I received Your Lordship's despatch.
