the the appointment of myself as Colonial Secretary of
British Columbia.

Governor Seymour's despatch No. 63 of

informed your Lordship that the arrangements made by the
Duke of
Buckingham and Chandos have been carried into effect by the
swearing in of Myself as Colonial Secretary.
3. No disastrous consequences have arisen, neither do
