My Lord,
With reference to Your Lordship's Circular Despatch of the 17th July respecting the continued supply of the Mercantile Navy Lists to the Colonies, I have the honor to report that it is very desirable if not absolutely essential that one Copy of each editionshouldManuscript image should be supplied to the Custom House at Victoria to furnish information of additions that have been made from time to time to the list of British Registered Ships.
2. That single Copy will I think be sufficient for the purposes of this Colony.
