Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your Letter of
the 14th Inst. transmitting an Extract of a despatch from the
Governor of British Columbia, and a Copy of a report by Mr
Young the Acting Colonial Secretary in reply to Mr Lowenberg's
statement—that the local Government would continue to dispute
his title to a piece of land in Victoria known as lot Z.
