Sir,
With reference to the letters from this office of 22 June 1867 54/Emign/2549 and 13 Novr 1867 relative to a Claim for Stores supplied by the War Department to the Colonial Government, British Columbia amounting to £675.2.4, I am now directed by Mr Secretary Cardwell to request you will state whether any steps have been taken towards the settlement of the said Claim.
