With reference to Governor Seymour's Despatch, No. 7, of the 21st of January, I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Secretary to the General Post Office, with a statement which has been prepared in thatDepartmentManuscript image Department, to which the Despatch was referred, of the account between your Government and the General Post Office, for the conveyance of Mails to and from British Columbia during the Year 1868.
I have authorized the Agents to place to the credit of your Government the Balance of £536-12-11 which is shewn by the statement to be due to the Colony.
