No. 63
11th May 1870
My Lord,
I have the honor to forward to Your Lordship an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council entitled— An Ordinance to assimilate and amend the Law relating to Bills of Sale.
2. The measure is oneofManuscript image of many necessary to consolidate the Laws heretofore in force in the two sections of the now united Colony. I am not aware of any objection to it, and the Attorney General, in his Report which I annex, recommends it for confirmation.
I have the honor to be,
My Lord,
Your most obedient
humble Servant
A. Musgrave

Bills of Sale Ordinance.
Sanction, but point out that it is not correct to repeal an Imperial Act as is done by the first section, but to enact that the Imperial Act shall no longer be in force within the Colony.
