My Lord,
I have the honor to report that I have appointed Mr Edward Graham Alston to be Registrar General of Titles under the provisions of the Land Registry Ordinance, 1870.
2. The appointmentisManuscript image is not in fact a new one. Mr Alston was previously the Registrar for Vancouver Island, and does not receive any increased emolument, but it is necessary that he should have a new Commission under the consolidated Law for the United Colony.
