Sir,
In have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 45
of the 25 April requesting permission to defer the remittance of the sum
of £675.2.4 being the amount due to the War Department by the government
of British Columbia.
For the reasons stated by you I shall not press the immediateliquidation
liquidation of that claim, but I have to request you to make provision in
