and until Her Majesty's pleasure be known,
Mr Henry Berkely
Good to be Clerk to the Magistrate in
Victoria Victoria in the room of
Mr Theakstone resigned. I believe
Mr Good to be well fitted
for the Office.
2. The Salary attached to the appointment is Twelve hundred
Dollars per annum, hitherto provided by annual Vote; and it is
small as compared with the expense of living. The Office would
offer
no no advantage to any qualified person transferred from
another Colony or coming out from England.
