I have the honor to enclose herewith a Duplicate of the
Memorandum by
Sir James Douglas on the North-west Water Boundary
question, which was transmitted to Your
Lordship Lordship in my Despatch
of the
9th instant; and I also forward a copy of a Letter this
day received by me from the Attorney General of this Province
together with the original documents sent therewith, containing
testimony on the above mentioned subject, similar to that
forwarded with my Despatch above mentioned, but which has been
prepared
in in different forms, some having been sworn to and some
not, as stated by the Attorney General, so that such of these
documents may be selected as may be deemed most advisable for
submission to the Arbitrator.
The printed "Communication" referred to by the Attorney
General, is likewise sent herewith—a copy thereof still
remaining in the Province.
