My Lord,
I have the honor to enclose herewith a Duplicate of the Memorandum by Sir James Douglas on the North-west Water Boundary question, which was transmitted to YourLordshipManuscript image Lordship in my Despatch of the 9th instant; and I also forward a copy of a Letter this day received by me from the Attorney General of this Province together with the original documents sent therewith, containing testimony on the above mentioned subject, similar to that forwarded with my Despatch above mentioned, but which has been preparedinManuscript image in different forms, some having been sworn to and some not, as stated by the Attorney General, so that such of these documents may be selected as may be deemed most advisable for submission to the Arbitrator.
The printed "Communication" referred to by the Attorney General, is likewise sent herewith—a copy thereof still remaining in the Province.
