I am directed by Mr Secretary Cardwell to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 28th ultimo, and to acquaint you, for the information of the Earl of Kimberley, that the application of John Linn late of the Corps of Royal Engineers for a deferred pension has been referred to the Commissioners of Chelsea Hospital for consideration.
