Sir,
I have the honor to report that I leave England on the 22nd
Instant to resume my duties in British Columbia.
I venture to express a hope that the Earl of Kimberley
will be enabled within the next six months to provide some
employment for me in the way of promotion, in which my service
for 13 years will not be lost, and some opportunity afforded me,
should I deserve it,
