With reference to your Letter of the 8th Instant, stating that Earl Grey does not consider that the Expence of the Passage of Governor Blanshard on board Her Majestys

Ship Daedalus between the 30th of Septr and 9th of Octr last is one which ought to be paid by the Public, I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you that as the Captain of the Daedalus is entitled to be paid for this Passage their Lordships request that Lord Grey will cause Governor BlanshardtoManuscript image to be called upon to pay to Captain Wellesley of the Daedalus the sum of Forty seven Pounds fifteen shillings, being the allowance due to him on account thereof
