Parker forwards to Merivale, for Grey's information, a copy of a letter from Moresby, which reports on the affairs of Vancouver Island.
In the minutes, Blackwood suggests that the HBC may wish to offer observations on the content of Moresby's report.
Of the documents included in the file, the first is a draft letter from the Colonial Office to Pelly, which forwards copies of correspondence from the Admiralty and Moresby; the second is a letter from Moresby to the Admiralty, which reports damningly on the HBC's management of Vancouver Island.
