I am directed by the Governor and Committee of the Hudson's Bay Company to acquaint you, for the information of Secretary Sir Edward B. Lytton, that they propose to despatch their Steamer the "Labouchere" to Vancouver's Island and that she will start from the port of London on Thursday morning the 2nd Septr.
Should it be the wish of Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton to avail himself of this opportunity of forwarding any Communication to the Island, the Governor and Committee will feel pleasure in taking charge of it.
