I have the honor to acknowledge your Despatch No 45 of the 9h April with enclosures, respecting the exclusion of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Scotland from practice inManuscript imagein Vancouvers Island, and conveying your instructions that I should bring before the Local Legislature, a measure to amend the existing order in Council, in such a manner as may lead to the admission of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Scotland to practice in Vancouvers Island, and I beg to informManuscript imageinform you in reply thereto that immediate attention shall be given to the instructions you have conveyed to me on this point.
