I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Grace's
Despatch No 12 of the 16th August, transmitting the copy of a
letter from the Treasury intimating that Postage stamps 
will be
prepared and sent out without delay for the use of the Post
office in British Columbia and Vancouver's Island; and I beg to
return your Grace my best thanks for your Grace's ready
compliance to my requisition for those articles, which will be
of the utmost service to the Colony.
